Mangalore, May 30: Mangalore has got a special attachment to Tulu and Kannada film industry. Stars likeAishwarya Rai Bachan, Shilpa Shetty and Sunil Shetty were born here and have created waves in Bollywood and internationally.
Now the another actress Reshma D’souza is on the threshold of entering sandalwood and making her debut in movie “Goa”,produced by Shankar Reddy.She was inspired by Kannada veteran actor Rajkumar and great fan of him.
She said that when she met Rajkumar in Bangalore, he spotted my potential to be an actress and told her to act in Kannada movies. As she was about shift her base to Dubai, she refused the offer and promised him that if she ever does a movie, she would begin her career in Kannada movie.Rajkumar is the one who inspired her and said that she would dedicate all her Kannada and Hindi film to him.
As far her career is concerned, she hit a jackpot as she has signed on for a multi-starer Bollywood movie “The city that never sleeps” starring Hollywood star JeremyWilliam,Veena Malik, Nataliya Kozhenova,Bhairavi Goswami,Jonita Doda,Devshi Khanduri,Murli Sharma and many more directed and produced by Haroon Rashid and Satish Reddy respectively.
Reshma said that she is blessed by God because she got a chance to work with some of the eminent directors and will be a pleasure to work with Hollywood star Jeremy Marr William and Bollywood renowned actors.
Kannada “Goa” movie is remake of Blockbuster Tamil film “Goa”, starring Jai, Vaibhav, Premji Amaran, Sneha and Piaa Bajpai.
