Mangalore/Udupi, May 29: It has been reported that Santhosh aged 37, a leading financier in the Udipi city allegedly committed suicide by shooting himself to death when his family members were at home on May 28, Tuesday night.
Sources said that couple lived in an apartment at Shiribeedu Towers in the city and his wife and children were in another room when the incident occurred.
Santhosh, who worked in Qatar for some time and had returned to hometown a couple years ago and started his own financial business at udipi.His father Salvador Monteiro, owns a financial business at Bajpe.
Actual motive behind his tragic death is not yet known and however sources said that family feud might have led him to take this drastic step.
Town police have registered a case in this regard and investigation is in progress.
