Mangalore, May 28: It has been reported that a new savings bank variant called “Corp Saral plus” by corporation bank has been launched by Narendra Narayan Yadav,cabinet minister-law,planning and development, government of Bihar at a glittering function organized in patna recently.
Corporation Bank had in the recent past introduced two other savings bank variants, viz., ‘Corp Signature’ and ‘Corp Super’, aimed at high-end customers and then ‘Corp Saral’ as a general Savings Account, with attractive add-ons and competitive charges.
Pursuant to the success of the above variants and a feedback from the field that yet another variant with attractive features is needed for the lower end also, the Bank introduced “Corp Saral Plus”, on the concept of ‘simplicity with protection for family’.
It is a variant of SB account where the customers can avail of a bouquet of features and add-ons along with personal accident insurance of Rs 5 lakh for a meager fee of Rs 50 per annum, without having to maintain a prescribed minimum or average balance in the account.
