Mangaluru, January 10: A self check-in kiosk has been installed at Mangaluru International Airport by Airports Authority of India (AAI) to improve service and reduce long lines at check-in counters, and enhance passenger experience.
J T Radhakrishna, Director of the Airport inaugurated the facility on Friday, January 9th at the domestic departure lounge.
Currently, only Jet Airways would allow its domestic departing passengers to avail this facility. The
Air India and other are also expected to provide this facility soon.
A list of logos of different airlines would be displayed in the kiosk. The passenger has to touch the logo. Post this; passenger has to enter the PNR number of the ticket and other details required. After entering these details, the hard copy of boarding pass will be provided.
