Mangalore, December 15: “As a result of prayers of many, Jesus Christ has taken birth to rescue us. He has bestowed a divine power to the whole world”, said the Bishop Rev Lawrence Mukuyi of Belthangadi Syro Malabar Catholic Diocese.
He gave a message at the Sauhardha Christmas program organised at Milagre’s Hall in the city by Karnataka Christians Education Society and Christian forum. He said, the life story of Jesus Christ was written even before his birth. The wise men knew in advance about the unborn.
Mangaluru Bishop, Rev. Dr. Aloysius Paul D’Souza, Bishop of CSI Karnataka Southern Diocese Rev. Dr. John S. Sadananda, Dr Jivarghese Syro-Malankara Catholic Diocese- Puttur, gave their blessings.
KTC Principal Rev. Dr. Honey Kabral, Rev Dr. J. B. Saldanha – Christian forum, leaders such as Alfred M. Aman, Rev. Fr. Clifford Fernandez, and Rev. Sandeep were present.
Variety cultural programs were presented by the student’s different educational institutions and members of various associations.
