Mangaluru, December 10: “Human Rights Day” was observed at the Dakshina Kannada District Commissioners office on Wednesday, December 10th, organized by the DK district administration and district legal services authority.
Nadoja Justice SR Nayak, State Human Rights Commission former Chairman, inaugurated the program by lighting a lamp.
Speaking on this occasion he said, all must learn to respect human rights. People belonging to many communities are residing here and are living in cultural and communal harmony.
City Police Commissioner R Hithendra, ZP CEO Tulasi Maddeneni, SP Sharanappa, President of advocates association Chengappa among others were present.
