Mangaluru, November 2: Related to the murder of Ijas which took place at Kannur on October 31st, Mangalore rural cops have held six persons from Bantwal on November 1st.
The arrested persons are namely Musatq (30) from Yousufnagar, Riaz alias Zia (30) from Adyarkatte in Kannur, Hasanabba (29) from Kannur, Mohammed Aniz (22) from Daimbunagar in Kannur, Azmal (21) from Kannur, and Mohammed Fazal (20) from Ganadabettu.
The cops have seized five machetes and a Maruti Alto car from the accused. The arrested are remanded under judicial custody.
