Mangalore, October 25: President of Dakshina Kannada district unit of Vishwa Hindu Parishad, Jagadish Shenava has alleged that, a false case has been registered against him on the wedlock break-up issue of Vivita and Roshan shetty, a resident of Amblamogaru. Vivita and Roshan shetty had entered into wedlock at Arya Samaj on October 17th after falling in love since three years.

He said, although there is no relation between the case and him, it is done on a revenge for the suspension of Kavoor SI.

Vivita had abandoned her home on October 14th, on her own accord was loitering with Roshan. Meanwhile, her parents had lodged a missing complaint at the Konaje police station. Since Vivita had compelled Roshan to marry her immediately, he had entered into a wed-lock as per the Hindu culture along with her permission at the Arya Samaj on October 17th taking the help of Hindu associations.

The girl’s parents, who came to know about the wedding, came to Arya Samaj. Even the Kadri and Konaje cops had arrived to Arya Samaj. Since Vivita failed to return to her parents although they her parents pleaded her to return back, her patents had threatened the new couple, said Shenava.

Post their wedding, Vivita had stayed with her husband Roshan in a lodge. On October 19th Vivita who conversed with her elder brother through messages only, had abandoned Roshan in a Blue car which was parked outside the lodge.

Vivita, due to her parent’s pressure had filed a case against her husband Roshan, Praveen- Kuthar resident, Sharath Amblamoguru, Ganesh Kumpala, Dinesh Kadri, along with the VHP district president Jagadish Shenava. The cops had filed a case under IPC section 143, 147, 366, 342,354,323,506, 149 against these six members. When Roshan had been to file a case against his wife’s elopement, the cops had denied filing the case.

Shenava also said that Vivita D’Souza and Roshan Shetty were in love with each other since the last three years, and that both their families had opposed this alliance. He added that the couple had decided to tie the knot at Arya Samaj as per Hindu traditions, as they could not convince their respective families to agree for their marriage.

On clarifying this, Shenava said, ” Recently I had led a protest demanding the suspension of Kavoor police station sub-inspector, Umesh Kumar, and succeeded in getting this demand met. Some have decided to suppress my struggle by imposing various sections on me. I do not care for these types of threats. I will take legal action against those who have filed false cases to defame my image, said Jagadish Shenava expressing his fury.
