Culprits ought to be punished unbiased: Pratap Simha Nayak

Mangalore, October 25:  Pratap Simha Nayak District BJP President has damned the state government for failing to adopt suitable measures to address the problems faced by citizens and lagging to reach the projects which were already implemented to the citizens.

He spoke at to the media after participating in the “Laxmi pooja” and “Gopooja” organised in the party’s office in the city on October 24th, Friday.

Nayak addressed the media and said the due to the absence of an effective mechanism the ration card applicants are confused. He also stated the ration card issuing centres in the district are functioning with a slow pace and alleged that they could not issue more than ten ration cards a day.

He also alleged that the state government policies were against the interests of the poor and farmers.

The government has issued notices to the farmers who possess Kumki land. By this hundreds of farmers are brought to the streets. The farmers have already grown crops in that land and we will order to return the land back to the farmers, he said.

He said, development works are not carried in the state. Booking false cases on the activists of the opposition party, pressuring the cops, marking the BJP activists as rowdy sheeters are done now. If the culprits are not punished, the citizens may lose hope on the government, he added. The government is upholstering to transfer the city commissioner who has suspended Kavoor SI.

He warned that, BJP would stage a massive protest if the government fails to stop political intervention on sincere officials.

He also said, on October 29th BJP Mahila Morcha would organise a protest damning the assault on IAS officer Rashmi.

On this occasion, BJP leaders including former MLC Ganesh Karnik, former minister N Yogesh Baht, Monappa Bhandari and Krishna Palemar and others were present.
