Kundapur, October 4: A seventh standard boy was bitten by a neighbour’s pet dog near his home. The incident is reported to have occurred at Herikudru.
Basically this boy is a native of Ajri, he stays in his aunt’s house to carry on with his studies. As usual, he had been to Mahakali temple near Herikudru, during this time a neighbours pet dog close to the vicinity of his house attacked this boy at once. On hearing his screams, a youth in the spot chased the dog and saved the boy, the later was treated in a hospital.
It is said that, the dog had attacked on 4 to 5 persons even before this, alleged the boy’s parents. The injured boy’s parents have alleged that, this matter when brought to the owner of the dog have abused and have come forward attack us. The victim boy’s parents have carried this issue to the Kundapur police station.
Currently, there are no cases filed regarding this.
