Corporation Bank Opens New Branch with “24 x 7 e- Lobby” at Bejai in Mangalore

Mangalore,sept.27: Corporation Bank opened its new Branch with e-Lobby at Bejai New Road, Bejai in Mangalore, today. The branch with “24 x 7 e-Lobby” was inaugurated by Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel, Hon’ble Member of Parliament.

Shri Ibrahim Adoor, IAS, Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate, Mangalore, D.K. District was the Chief Guest for the occasion. Shri S R Bansal, Chairman & Managing Director, Corporation Bank presided over the function. Shri M Rangawamy, Deputy General Manager & Zonal Head, Mangalore Zone, Executives and Customers of the Bank were present on the occasion.

 The e-Lobby at Bejai is the fifth in the city from the Bank. The other e-Lobbies are located at Head Office of the Bank in Pandeswar, Car Street, Jeppu and Kankanady. The e-Lobby takes care of the multifarious needs of various customers.  It has self-service automation kiosks which include Cash Deposit Kiosk, Cheque Deposit Kiosk, Self-service Passbook printer and an ATM. The kiosks are user-friendly and can be used at ease by the customers

Speaking on the occasion Shri Nalin Kumar Kateel, Hon’ble Member of Parliament said that “Corporation Bank is good Bank and known for its good service”. Chief Guest for the occasion Shri Ibrahim Adoor, IAS, Deputy Commissioner & District Magistrate, Mangalore, D.K. District inaugurated the “24 x 7 e-Lobby”. Shri Ibrahim said that Corporation Bank has always partnered in developmental endeavours of the District Administration. It has taken active role in the development of the city and the district.

In his presidential address, Shri Bansal said that “Corporation Bank is making all efforts in its Financial Inclusion Mission and it is endeavoring to open many of its service outlets in the unbanked areas. Corporation Bank is known for its best services and best products. The Bank’s products are unique and customer friendly offering value-added services to the customers.

The Bank has recently launched New Payroll Account Scheme which is specially designed for the convenience of both the employers and employees of corporates. It facilitates easy disbursements of salaries and is loaded with distinctive features and numerous other benefits.

Employees of registered organizations with one year of proven track record having a minimum of 15 employees and a monthly payout of Rs.1.50 lakhs per month can open payroll accounts. The New Payroll Accounts scheme consists of three variants – Corp Payroll, Corp Pay Super and Corp Pay Signature depending upon the gross salary per month of the employees. All the three variants offer some unique features like Personal Accidental Insurance Cover, Personalized at par Cheque Books, Higher Limits at ATMs and Point of Sale terminals (POS) for Corp Pay Signature & Super etc.

The various features include no initial deposit, no annual fee for ATM cum Debit Card, free Internet and Mobile banking, Any Branch Banking, Free Account Statement via email and option to open a reimbursement account. The reimbursement account is an add-on account opening option for the employee to easily distinguish between reimbursements and monthly salary accounts.

consumers on account of the ongoing festival season Corporation Bank has come out with “Grand Festival Dhamaka”. The dhamaka or offer is on Home Loans, Vehicle Loans, Doctor Plus (Finance for Medical Professionals) and Vyapar Schemes (Loan for Trade & Business). For Home Loans the Bank is offering a Floating Rate of interest  of 10.25% p.a. for a maximum period of 30 years for amount upto Rs. 2 crore and for amount of loan above Rs. 2 crore the rate offered is at 10.50% p.a. The processing charges are fully waived. The rate of interest for vehicle loans (4-wheelers) for personal use for amount upto Rs. 50 lakhs is offered at 10.65% p.a. and for above Rs. 50 lakhs at 11.15% p.a. upto maximum period of seven years. 50% of applicable processing charges are waived. The offer is available till December 2014.
