Kundapur, September 18: The young kabbaddi player Rishank Devadiga who shined as raider of the U Mumba team in Pro-Kabbaddi  visited various schools in Gangolli on Thursday.

S.V. higher Primary School of Gangolli, St Joseph’s higher Primary School, Stella Maurice secondary school, Saraswati Vidyalaya P.U College, Saraswati Vidyalaya English Medium School, Government Urdu Lower Primary School, Anjuman Urdu Ghosa School and Tauheed English Medium School were visited by Rishank Devadiga Gangolli who was cordially welcomed by the Headmaster of the school, board members and students. The students flocked around Rishank and enjoyed during his school visit. It was a challenging task to control the pupils who rushed at once to get his signature.

Interacting with school students at some places, Rishank Devadiga said, in our country there are more opportunities for kabbadi game. The number of kabbadi players in our country is less; hence the youngsters should focus on this game. He gave a call and said, this domestic game has to be encouraged by playing it more and more.

Parvati Devadiga mother of Risank Devadiga, former member of the gram panchayat  B. Raghavendra Pai, ZP former vice-president Raju Devadiga, Madhav Devadiga, Sridhar Devadiga, Dayanand Devadiga, gram panchayat member Manjula Devadiga, Muhammad Hussain, Shankar Devadiga and others were present.
