BJP prime ministerial candidate Narendra Modi continued to exploit the gift of the gab and land in the next factual error.
Speaking in Dudu, Rajasthan, he called Mahatma Gandhi (aka Mohandas Karamchand Gandhi) Mohanlal Karamchand Gandhi.
His quote as said in Dudu was, “Towards the end of his life, Mahatma Gandhi had a wish which was not fulfilled. Would you fulfil that wish? Would you fulfil Gandhi’s wish? Mohanlal Karamchand Gandhi.”
The error comes days after he got Jan Sangh founder Shyama Prasad Mookerji mixed up with revolutionary Shyamaji Krishna Verma. He did apologise for the mix-up later.
Not to forget his claim that Alexander the Great came to Bihar and that ancient Taxila was in the Nitish Kumar-ruled state.
