Mumbai, September 24: The Bombay High Court on Tuesday asked the National Investigation Agency to file its reply on whether stringent Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act can be invoked with regard to the murder of anti-superstition activist Dr. Narendra Dabholkar.

The court was hearing the Public Interest Litigation filed by activist Ketan Tirodkar, which sought probe by the NIA in the case.

The court has given three week’s time to NIA to file its reply, depending on which the court will decide whether the probe should be transferred to the central agency.
