Mumbai: Soon after ‘ABCD 2’ garnered headlines for maintaining a strong foothold at the box-office, here is another news that shocked their fans completely.
Mumbai Police have arrested Nilesh Nirbhavane, a back-up dancer in ABCD 2, for raping a 14-year-old mentally challenged girl. Nilesh, a dancer by profession, was arrested by the Pant Nagar Police on June 26 when he confessed his crime.
According to reports, an officer from the Pant Nagar Police station informed a leading daily that Nilesh had been raping the girl repeatedly for a month along with a friend. They would take the girl to public toilets or other isolated places and then rape her.
Nilesh, who confessed to the crime after the officer called him for questioning, was booked under IPC sections 376D (gang rape), 377 (unnatural offences) and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention).
