New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi today congratulated Jayalalithaa on her taking oath as Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Jayalalithaa, AIADMK supremo, was sworn in as Chief Minister about eight months after she was forced to quit over corruption charges.
Twenty eight ministers were also sworn in at the ceremony.
PM Modi had also congratulated Jayalalithaa soon after she was acquitted by the Karnataka High Court in the disproportionate assets case.
