Mumbai: A 10-foot long python in West Bengal’s Gharkuta district ate a goat whole, while villagers gathered round kept watching the incident in amazement.
The python oblivious to the villagers’ presence stuffed the goat and slithered off inside the forest. According to eyewitnesses, the python ate the goat in four hours.
Snake experts are worried after the incident. According to them the incident happening in a village could mean that the snake repeating its lookout in the village for food in future. Also, the snake could prey on unsuspecting children or lone people.
