Hyderabad: Telugu film industry’s budding actor K Vijay died in the earthquake which has struck the neighboring nation Nepal. He along with his unit of 20 people, were shooting for the upcoming flick ‘Etakaram.com’ in the country.
Vijay’s car overturned due to massive quake and the actor-choreographer reportedly died on the spot.
Music director Kishan said, “For the shoot, the entire team headed to Nepal on April 15 and the incident took place when the whole unit of the film was returning from the shooting, the car in which K. Vijay was seated suddenly overturned due the earthquake. The actor died at the spot while, three people got injured.”
Meanwhile, the complete unit is missing since then and the Telugu film fraternity is praying for their safety. The Telugu film industry has requested the government to bring back Vijay’s body to India.
Film ‘Etakaram.com’ was being directed by young Veerender Reddy.
