Hyderabad: A youngster allegedly raped and impregnated a 13-year-old girl in Rein Bazaar, police said. A case has been booked against the 20-year-old bakery worker for luring and raping the minor.
Police said the accused, Asadulla Shareef, has been visiting the victim’s house for at least four months while her mother was not at home.
The victim, who is a Class VII student, met Asadulla while he was working in a bakery near her house.
“He started meeting her and allegedly had sexual intercourse with her while her mother had gone for work,” said Rein Bazaar inspector G. Ramesh.
When the victim’s mother, who found about her pregnancy, inquired, the girl told her about the incidents. Asadulla has been booked under IPC Section 376.
