Tenth Standard student expires while writing board exams.

INDORE, March 21: A Class X student, who collapsed while taking her board examination at Khalsa High School and was rushed to the nearest hospital, passed away before she could be treated by doctors, on Friday. The sudden death of 17-year-old Kritika Prajapati has left her entire familyin shock.

Kritika, a student of Government Girls’ School, was appearing for the last paper at the exam centre when she fainted suddenly. The teachers immediately took Kritika to the nearest City Nursing Home where she was declared brought dead.

The victim’s uncle, Jagdish Prajapati said that Kritika was happy as it was her last paper on Friday and she had asked her parents to go for a movie after the examination.

“She was healthy and was not suffering from any disease. We were shocked when examination centre officials informed us about the incident. By the time we reached the exam centre, she was already taken to the hospital,” said Prajapati. According to Chhatripura police station in charge, Ramdeen Kanawa, the incident took place around 9.30 am.

He said, “Kritika had answered just two questions and suddenly her health deteriorated. Parents informed that she was academically poor and was reeling under exam stress.” He added that the exact cause of death will be ascertained after the post-mortem report comes out.

Autopsy was conducted on Friday and the body was handed over to relatives for performing the last rites.
