Moradabad: A nurse was sent to 14-days police custody by a local court here for launching a deadly attack on her senior’s wife.
The entire incident come to fore on Thursday evening when Dr Kapil Choudhary lodged an FIR against the nurse, identified as Sheetal alias Sejal Choufdhary.
During the course of investigation, the police found a diary from Sejal’s residence. The diary belonged to the nurse, who was employed at Sai hospital in the city. She was, police said, in a habit of making daily diary entries.
According to the diary, Sejal and Dr Kapil had a physical relation which lasted for nearly one-and-half year. The nurse wanted him to give her the status of his wife. But the doctor neither wanted to leave the nurse nor his wife and children.
The lady has briefly mentioned about each happenings with specific date and day since the day she joined the hospital. It says that four-five days after she joined her duty on March 21, 2013, she came in touch with Dr Kapil and fell in love with him. The two belonged to the same community. After two-months, on knowing that Dr Kapil is a married man, Sejal had tried to take a U-turn in the relationship but Kapil insisted her not to leave him.
The dairy of Sejal claimed that Dr Kapil used to spend his maximum time with Sejal at latter’s place.
Sejal narrated about each night and incidents in the diary with specific date and time.
The duo had visited Haridwar twice during the one-and-half year stint of relationship.
The writings clearly signify that Sejal was in a state of mental confusion as she had developed a habit of taking sleeping pills every night.
She had also developed a feeling of jealousy after seeing Dr Kapil’s daily practice of picking and dropping his wife, Dr Sangeeta, by bike at the TMC hospital.
Sejal has, more than 10 times, written – ‘I become very angry whenever I see Dr Sangeeta sitting behind my boyfriend on his bike. I can’t tolerate this pain’.
She has alleged that Dr Kapil used her physically and later he started sidelining her. He also abused her on many occasions, slapped her and questioned her character.
Sejal had several times crossed from Dr Kapil’s colony just only to keep an eye on his boyfriend to ensure he doesn’t meet Dr Sangeeta.
