Grand Reception Planned for PM Narendra Modi at Historic Melbourne Cricket Ground

Prime Minister Narendra Modi today met top Australian and Indian CEOs in Melbourne which will round off his four-city tour of Australia. In Canberra, Mr Modi held bilateral talks with Australian Prime Minster Tony Abbott and then addressed the Australian Parliament. The two countries have established a framework for bilateral security cooperation to advance regional peace and to combat terrorism through a comprehensive global strategy.
Today in Melbourne, Mr Abbott will host a reception for Mr Modi at the famous 161-year-old Melbourne Cricket Ground. He leaves Australia for Fiji tonight and will then head home, concluding his 10-day three-nation tour.
