New Delhi: A 35-year-old pregnant woman was strangled by her husband over a marital discord, police said on Thursday.
The man has been arrested, police said here.
“Babli’s body was found by her brother Bhole Shankar at her home in New Usmanpur area in east Delhi on Thursday morning,” a police officer said.
The accused has been identified as Kali Charan.
Bhole Shankar, according to police said that Babli’s husband Kali Charan had told him that his wife was not well.
“Kali Charan has been arrested from their house. He confessed to his crime,” the officer added.
Babli is survived by three children.
