Jewellery shop owner hypnotized and robbed in Ghaziabad

IndiaTv8243e0_lootGhaziabad: In a recent incident of hypnosis and robbery, a gang of thieves in Ghaziabad robbed a jewellery shop on Diwali afternoon by hypnotizing the owner of the shop.

The entire incident was also captured in the CCTV installed inside the shop.

The CCTV footage shows one man enters into the shop of Satish Verma and asks him for gold jewelleries. Later, his companion also enters the shop and joins him.

When Satish produces some jewelleries before them, the two men cleverly hypnotises him and start giving him directions.

After few minutes, the duo order him to pack all the ornaments and give him Rs one thousand as a token amount. They ask Satish to put all the packets in his drawer. Afterwards, they open the drawer in front of Satish and decamp with the jewelleries worth Rs 3.75 lakh.

The incident had taken place on October 23 at around 1:50 pm.

When Satish realised the foul play, it was too late. According to Himahsu Verma, son of Satish, the duo not only decamped with the jewelleries, they had also stolen Rs 35,000 cash from the drawer.

A complaint has been lodged with the Indirapuram Police.
