In modern criminal law, the term crime does not have any simple and generally accepted definition, though constitutional definitions have been made available for certain purposes.

Criminal activitires take place since the begining of the human history. The evil mind present among us is responsible for the loss of innocent lives. The criminals do this as they aren’t satisfied with their lives or want to take revenge for petty things. Some do crime intentionally and some do it deliberately.

Panaji: A 32-year-old Russian national was allegedly molested twice over as many days in Goa, first at a beach and later at Goa Medical College and Hospital here by a senior medical officer after the police referred her there for a “medical examination”.

The Goa state health ministry sought a detailed report today from the Goa Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) over the alleged incident.

In her complaint, the woman who hails from Minsk in Russia, said that she had been robbed and molested at Baga beach by an unknown person on October 20.

“The woman is holidaying in Goa along with her female partner when she was initially molested by an unknown person at Baga beach on October 20 midnight,” Legal Advisor to the Russian Consulate in Goa, Vikram Varma told PTI here today.

1414174220police2Varma said that the woman was referred to Goa Medical College and Hospital by police for “medical examination” on October 21 “where she was examined twice, first by a female doctor and later by a male doctor who allegedly molested her.” The woman had arrived in Goa on October 16.

Ahmednagar: Three members of a Dalit family in Jawkhede Khalsa village here were cruelly killed, one of them decapitated before being thrown into a dry well, police said today.

The brutal murders took place on the night of October 20 at Patherdi, 69 kms from here, and the mutilated bodies of Sanjay Jadhav (49), his wife Jayashree (46) and their son Sunil (22) were found dumped in a village well the next morning (October 21), DSP Lakhmi Gautam said.

However, when the head and limbs of Sunil were found missing, locals and relatives of the family raised a hue and cry and stalled their last rites by staging road blockades and protests alleging lack of strong action against the unknown killers, suspected to be from the upper caste, besides demanding protection to Dalit families in the village and transfer of the case to the State CID, police said.

Last evening, when the severed body parts of Sunil were traced to a bore well, the victims were cremated, District Collector Anil Kawade said.

The incident has sent shock waves in the village. Earlier, Dalit organisations demanded early arrest of those involved in the murder. They also blocked the Jawkhed road for three hours until SDOP Jyoti Kaware, DSP Gautam convinced the protesters, villagers and family members to withdraw their agitation, assuring adequate protection before the funeral was conducted.

Warangal (AP): A six-year-old boy was strangulated to death allegedly by his father in Valmidi village here, police said today.

The murder took place last night when accused M Anjaiah took both his sons Rakesh (9) and M Kamal (6) to the outskirts of the village and tried to kill them, police said.

While Rakesh managed to escape, Kamal died on the spot after he was strangulated, following which the accused buried him in a nearby field.

According to police, Anjaiah wanted to seek revenge from his wife by killing their two children as he doubted her character, police added.

The murder came to light when elder son Rakesh escaped from the clutches of his father and told the family and villagers about the murder.

Muzaffarnagar: A headless body of a woman has been found here with police saying that she could have been murdered after gangrape by unknown persons.
According to police, the body was found yesterday in a nullah at Kacholi village in the Kotwali police station area.

Police said that the deceased, who is yet to be identified, was aged about 28 years. The body has been sent for a post-mortem, police said, adding that they are yet to trace the severed head.

Once the woman has been identified, they will try to get in touch with her family members and relatives.
