Kanpur: All the six accused in the Jyoti murder case, including her husband, have been booked for murder as police filed charge sheet against them today in a local court.
Police also named parents of Piyush Shyam Dasani and his two brothers in the charge sheet and have booked them under Section 202 (Intentional omission to give information of offence by person bound to inform) of IPC.
Those booked for murder are Piyush, his girlfriend, driver Awadesh and his three accomplices, said Prabhakar Chaudhry, Superintendent of Police. The charge sheet was filed today in the court of Chief Metropolitan Magistrate.
