New Delhi: India has strongly raised with the United States the issue of Pakistan sponsoring terror outfits operating in the Kashmir Valley, saying that the US must go beyond merely freezing the financial assets of such groups or declaring their top operatives as designated global terrorists.
Sources said that during the US visit of PM Narendra Modi, India has stressed on America to use its “political and economic clout” with Pakistan to ensure that its soil is not used by terror organisations.
