Dubai , Aug 9: Thousands of married women celebrated Varamahalakshmi Pooja with religious fervor organized by the Indian community at the Indian Academic School Auditorium of Guisses on August 8, Friday.
Married women participated in the rituals, offered prayers and accepted the Mahaprasada under the guidance of priest Raghu Bhat. They also lighted the lamp and the Bhajan troupes started the devotional music.
On behalf of all other devotees, Jayanthi Satish Ullal couple led the puja.
Rajesh Kuttar and his team attracted the attention of large devotees by beautifully decorating the Pooja Mantap.
After the programme, the organizers felicitated Bhajana troupe members, journalists and all the people who worked at the back stage by presenting memento.
Ramananda Belapu and Rajesh Kuttar compered the programme.
Executive committee members Suvarna Satish Poojari, Jayashree Sudhaker Poojary, Aruna Jagadish, Udaya Kumar Kateel, Jagannath Bellare, Ramanand Belapu, Satish Ullal, Sudhaker Poojari, Rajesh Kuttar, Prakash Pakkala, Balakrishna Salian and others worked for the success of the event.
Members, leaders and office bearers of various Indian organizations based UAE, participated in the rituals with their family.

Good to see festivals of karnataka being followed and celebrated in UAE. If you could include me in the mailing list, I could participate in these gatherings as well. It feels at home to celebrate our festivals in Dubai.
