Air Arabia has launched an ‘all-inclusive return fare’ offer starting from Dh444 to certain selected destinations.
The offer is exclusive to the web and is open for just 48 hours. The tickets can be booked only today (March 10) and tomorrow (March 11, 2014). These tickets can be used to travel on any of the days starting today till May 31, 2014.
The destinations that the offer covers are Bahrain, Doha, Kuwait, Salalah, Alexandria, Amman, Beirut, Istanbul, Khartoum, Medinah and Nairobi.
A test booking of a return ticket to Bahrain showed the fare to be exactly Dh444. The outbound fare was Dh310, the inbound fare Dh203.70 and the customer had to pay Dh444 after a deduction of Dh 67.70, which is a discount for booking a return flight.
As far as the additional charges are concerned, Dh50 was charged for being allowed to carry 30kgs of baggage per side. The passengers will also have to pay an additional sum for selecting a seat of their choice.
During the process of carrying out the test booking, the prospective passenger was being charged Dh125 for selecting a seat of one’s choice and Dh37 for travel insurance. An amount of Dh30 also had to be paid for hot meals.
The entire payable expenditure amounted to Dh736 for a return flight from Bahrain. However, the meal and the baggage charges can be avoided should the passengers prefer not to eat during their flight or not carry any baggage with them.
