Dubai; Feb 14: U.A.E Beary’s cultural Forum (BCF) has successfully organized 10th ‘Beary’s Sports Festival-2014” event in Gulf Medical College’s stadium on Feb 07, Friday. All the sports lovers, players from the community actively participated in regardless of their age and made the day meaningful
Games like cricket, Volleyball, football, Kabaddi including shuttles were played by the community members starting from dawn till dusk.
Members of various playing teams from different places and UAE Beary’s cultural Forum (BCF) took part in the march-past held in the afternoon in the stadium.
Thereafter in the stage programme eminent personalities from Karnataka coastal region and UAE by being present in the programme, added flavor to the programme and made the day cherishable.
In the stage programme, Ajman Gulf Medical University’s Dean Dr.Mohammad Areefulla,Vartha Barathi Megazine’s chief editor Abdusalam Puttige,DKSC president M.K.Beary,Karnataka Wakf committee member Shaafi Sayyadi,Karnataka SSF president Hafeel Sayyadi Kodagu,Chilly Willy’s Satish Venkataramana,Sharjah Karnataka Sangha’s Mark Dennis,Ajman GMC hospital’s Modiddin Fahad,Gulf Medical University’s Dakshina Kannada district panchayat’s former member Umar Farook,Dakshina Kannada congress minority unit’s leader Abubacker Sajipa,Hidaya Foundation’s Basheer T.K,BCF’s vice president M.E.Maloor, Abu Sali,secretary Dr.Kaup Mohammad,Sports event’s convener Salim Altaf, Lathief Mulky,M.B.Akbar,Tanvir Razak and among other prominent personalities were present.
U.T.Khader, minister for health and family welfare could not attend the programme due to unavoidable circumstances and conveyed his best wishes for the success of the programme through phone in between the programme.
Then all the players, who took part in the event, were complimented by presenting prizes.
Throughout the day, it was an enjoyment, merrymaking and happiness, loved and enjoyed by all the community members.
