Dog may be man’s best friend, but this canine surely tested the limit of that friendship when it chewed through its owner’s car.

Royston Grimstead, 42, from Somerset, came home one day to find that his dog Luce, a border collie spaniel, had chewed a hole through the fibreglass wheel arch of his 80,000 pound Aston Martin.

“I came home and saw her covered in white stuff and I thought she had got a bird and it was feathers – but it was the fibreglass from the car,” Grimstead said.

Four-year-old Luce had never done anything like this before, Grimstead said, adding that he had got the dog three years ago.

Luce was having trouble getting along with Grimstead’s other dog, and the owner was considering re-homing it. Looks like this incident put the final nail in the coffin.
