Among those houses, 31 will be distributed to Emirati beneficiaries as a grant and 149 as a loan.
His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has ordered the commencement of distribution of 180 houses in Barsha South 1 district. The houses are part of project of 1, 240 houses in Barsha at cost of Dh204 million.
Among those houses, 31 will be distributed to beneficiaries as a grant and 149 as a loan, while 430 were distributed to the two categories in the first and second phases.
The move comes in line with keenness of Shaikh Mohammed on ensuring the decent living conditions for Emiratis and appropriate accommodation for each family in the Emirate of Dubai.
Sami Abdullah Gargash, Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, said the establishment is keen on speedy implementation of the instructions of Shaikh Mohammed, on construction and allocation of houses to the citizens in Dubai.
