The Sharjah Police have arrested five Asians who allegedly attacked a man brutally on learning that he had Dh34,000 with him.
The gang hit the man who was their friend from the same country, took the money from him and escaped. The Criminal Investigation Department investigated the case and found that the victim was attacked in a residential area in Sharjah.
Suspicion revolved around the five suspects as they had a financial dispute with the victim. The suspects were arrested from different emirates. During interrogation, the suspects confessed to attacking the victim.
