His Highness Shaikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi, Member of the Supreme Council and Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah, praised the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as a “unique Arab leader for his deep love to his nation and people”, and for his commitment to local, religious and social values and principles.

“Our dear homeland is in safe hands under the leadership of the President, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa, and the UAE people are renewing their loyalty and allegiance to their leader and their top national figure,” Shaikh Saud said in a statement on the occasion of the ‘Thank You Khalifa’ initiative launched by His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, to express gratitude and appreciation to the President.

“The UAE has every reason to honour its leader, who kept his promise, showed good faith in his nation and people and translated his words into actions. These actions touch both Emiratis and expatriate residents in inclusive social development, services and economic projects that have made a quantum leap in the process of development, progress and modernisation,” Shaikh Saud added.

“Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid’s initiative has come on behalf of all UAE people to say ‘Thank you Khalifa’ for his love and warmth that he has given to his loyal people and non-Emirati residents.”

Under Khalifa’s visionary leadership, he said, the UAE has surprised the world and will continue to do so. “This is because of Emiratis’ passion for work and achievement, and their desire for development, progress and building their nation on par with the finest urban and civilisational standards under the Federal State.”

Under Shaikh Khalifa’s leadership, he added, the far-flung regions have been transformed into full-serviced and integrated, prosperous communities.
