Five special buses to ferry visitors to site
The Global Village has announced to open its doors for exhibitors and visitors from October 5 to March 01, 2014.
In related development, three UAE cadres have been appointed as official spokespersons for the Global Village.
Global Village is the largest seasonal cultural shopping and entertainment theme park in the region, where an amazing array of festivals are lined up and the world comes together for celebration.
Meanwhile, the Public Transport Corporation at the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has launched two new bus routes to the Global Village in Dubai.
Eisa Al Hashimi, Acting Director of Planning & Business Development, RTA Public Transport Agency, pointed out that the agency is keen on an ongoing basis to launch and expand the network of routes of public buses linking the Emirates of Dubai to other Emirates, or the vital, tourism and entertainment places.
Al Hashimi said: “Users of Global Village buses for the next season are required to use Nol Cards, The trip will cost Dh10 and the first route (103) will start from Union Station and the total number of buses for Global Village is five.
The service will be launched on October.
