Abu Dhabi: Mangalorean Cricket Carnival at International Cricket stadium

Abu Dhabi: Mangalore cup 2018 (Season-6) over arm cricket tournament will be held under the auspices of the MCC (Mangalorean Cricket Club) at Sheikh Zayed International Cricket stadium, on March 02nd Friday.

MCC President Lathif KH informed the media that, “This is our sixth consecutive year of MCC tournaments. It’s getting bigger and better by years, like last season we are hosting the event at International cricket pitch.  We have received immense support from cricket lovers and Kannadigas of United Arab Emirates for the last 5 seasons, we are expecting more teams and around 5000 crowd in this year.

Organizers also informed that, entire tournament will be live telecasted, there will be free Jet Airways air ticket lucky draw for the spectators. Many leading companies will be distributing their free products at event venue. Mangalore Fest also will be organized to create networking between the Kannadiga NRI communities. There will separate kids’ corner for children activity & family event. Face painting, fun games for kids, Mehendi & other games for ladies will be separately organized at international cricket stadium Hall.

Many delegates will be participating in the opening and prize distribution ceremony. A book on ” MCC Milestones” will be released at the event. Entertainment and Lucky draw prizes will be given to spectators.

Winner Trophy and cash prize – AED 11000/ –
Runners-up Trophy and cash prize – AED 6000/-
Cash prize and Trophy will be given in following categories: Man of the series, best batsman, Best bowler, Best Keeper, Best fielder, Best all-rounder, and Best catcher. Man of the match in the final. Man of match in every league.
