Muscat: An American citizen has been arrested on charges of theft and vandalism, the Royal Oman Police said on Thursday.
According to information received here, the accused burgled a bank in the Shinas province as well as some houses in Muscat.
After investigation, the accused was arrested in a flat in the Wilayat of Sohar. A large amount of allegedly stolen cash and jewellery have been recovered by the police.
