Bahrain: A homemade bomb killed one policeman and wounded two others in Bahrain last night, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
The BNA quoted Chief of Public Security Major General Tareq Al Hassan, as saying :”The police had confronted a group of terrorists who were targeting Sitra police station.”
The bomb exploded as police were securing the area, he said.
He added that police had examined the crime scene and launched an investigation to determine who were behind the terrorist act and to bring them to justice.
