Vishal Bhardwaj directorial Rangoon brings together the two stars Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan for the first time on screen. And the film has been in the news right from the time it was announced; because of the personal history that these two actors share. However, both the actors seemed to have moved on from their past differences.
According to a source from the set, Saif Ali Khan and Shahid Kapoor are cordial with each other at work. And Saif being the funny man that he is, helps ease the tension to a large extent. “Saif often helps Shahid improvise during scenes. He makes sure if Shahid needs any cue for a particular scene, that he is given one. Yes, they do have history, but Saif never mixes his profession with his personal affairs.”
Shahid too has good things to say about his co-star. “Saif is very professional — nobody could have pulled off this role like him. I am looking forward to see how people will react to the casting in the film,” the actor told reporters at a recent awards function.
