Mumbai: After much speculation, it has been officially announced that Salman Khan will be hosting the 9th instalment of the hit reality TV show ‘Bigg Boss’. The actor has been with the show for the past five seasons.
However, last season he was temporarily replaced by director Farah Khan, as the actor had no available dates, and was busy working on his blockbuster ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’.
The show is slated to air in October. Bigg Boss has now gained popularity as a re-launch pad for many failed celebrities. There been a number of rumours about which celebrities will enter the house this season. Shweta Basu Prasad, godwoman Radhe Maa, and Uday Chopra were a few among the long list. However all three have denied being roped in for the film.
