Varun Dhawan will be winding up the shooting of Dishoom (helmed by his brother Rohit) before he starts shooting for Karan Johar’s Shuddhi. Apparently, this is a plan that has been worked out by KJo and Varun, especially since the actor’s look in Shuddhi needs to be completely different from Dishoom. “Karan is very clear that Varun will need to lose all the muscle, the athletic look he has for Dishoom, before he starts shooting for Shuddhi,” says a source close to the actor.
“The two films have been spaced out to give Varun the time to work on his look and body language.” After the success of Badlapur and ABCD 2, Varun has consciously tried to take on only one film at a time — apparently inspired by Aamir and Salman Khan. With his films hitting bull’s eye so far, it’s imperative for Varun to maintain his track record.
