Mumbai: Rohit Shetty took his place behind the camera once again as he and his boy brigade kick started the first schedule of ‘Dilwale’ in Mumbai on the 20th of March.
According to sources, Rohit will be shooting breathtaking action sequences in South Africa. This is the first time in his two-decade long career that he will be filming a movie overseas. Rohit had explored the place while shooting for the reality show ‘Khatron ke Khiladi’ and hence is familiar with the locals. The team will be taking care of the stunt arrangements and will be carrying out the logistics.
The film will bring favourite onscreen couple Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol back on the big screen. Shah Rukh who recently got injured while shooting for ‘Fan’, will be seen performing some death-defying stunts for his next. There is no stopping for the actor who has several movies lined up for release this year.
Rohit went out of his way to assemble his all star cast that includes Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, Kriti Sanon, Varun Dhawan, Varun Sharma, Boman Irani, Vinod Khanna, Kabir Bedi, Sanjay Mishra, Johnny Lever, Chetna Pandey, Mukesh Tiwari and Murli Sharma. He even went the extra mile to get the rights of the film’s name ‘Dilwale’ that is a 1994 Ajay Devgn starrer.
