Mumbai: As Anushka Sharma stood to cheer Virat Kohli on final day of the third test between Australia and India at the at the Melbourne Cricket Ground, TV presented Michael Slater went on to address the Bollywood actress as ‘Virat Kohli’s wife’. The presenter was quick to recognise his mistake and then described her as his fiancee.
Virat’s lady love, Anushka Sharma was on the stands cheering Virat when this incident took place. Earlier, the Indian Vice-Captain was seen blowing kisses to both his girlfriend Anushka Sharma and on-field rival Mitchell Johnson during a previous test match.
Virat Kohli ensured that he excelled in the Test match in front of his girlfriend who had travelled to watch him play at Melbourne. Looking absolute gorgeous in a white dress, Anushka Sharma appeared proud after Virat dedicated his third century of the series by blowing kisses in her direction.
The couple recently publically admitted to being in a relationship. While we dont know when the wedding bells will ring, with this faux paus perhaps we can expect another Bollywood wedding soon!
