Hyderabad: The second day of 4th International Kuchipudi Dance Convention, organised by Silicon Andhra and being held at GMC Balayogi Gachibowli Indoor Stadium left the audience mesmerised with the lecture-demonstrations of Kuchipudi exponents and performances by dance groups from across the world. The auditorium was packed with dancers from across India, the US, Canada, Russia, the UK, Dubai, Mauritius, Malaysia and Singapore.

Legends Forum, a panel discussion with Yamini Krishnamurthy, Raja Reddy, Radha Reddy, Sobha Naidu and K. Uma Rama Rao was chaired by Sangeet Natak Akademi awardee Alekhya Punjala.

Renowned Kuchipudi danseuse Sobha Naidu’s lecture demonstration of Bhamakalapam kept the audience glued to their seats.

Thanking Silicon Andhra, Ms Naidu said, “The ambience in this auditorium seems like it is Sankranti already.” “It is not the greatness of a dancer, if the audience is enthralled by a performance, it’s the greatness of the guru’s training,” she said.
