Love is a difficult issue in our country. Not all parents agree with the choices that their children make. With no other option left, many such lovers elope and lead a miserable life usually. Director Arasu Anthare picks up the story of one such star crossed lovers in Love In Mandya, who defy all odds to preserve their love and fight for it.

Love In Mandya, starring Sathish Ninasam and Sindhu Loknath, has already become an audio hit. The song Opkonbitlu Kanla has become very popular. What is heartening as a movie viewers is that the work done of the script is equally sincere and earnest. Based on some of the real life incident, director has spun a story of love, loyalty and revenge.

Love In Mandya is the story of a simple boy portrayed by Sathish Ninasam. He hails from a small village in Mandya where he works as a cable operator. As chance has it, he ends up connecting his heart with a simple girl from the village (Sindhu Loknath). However, the girl’s parents oppose this relationship, which forces the couple to elope to Hosur. Life takes a completely new turn in the new place and the couple soon realize that life isn’t the rose of beds that they had imagined.

The first half of the movie is very humorous and will make you laugh. Sathish Ninasam delivers the village guy accent to absolute perfection. He feels right at home playing the village born guy. Sindhu Loknath is a motormouth in this movie. This is unlike any roles she has played so far. The actress looks sweet and does complete justice to the movie.

The director Arasu Anthare has delivered a winner. With the right mix of comedy and realism, this movie will not fail to entertain you. One of those rare movies in Kannada which will leave you satisfied at the end. Love In Mandya is a feel good movie that is very entertaining and full of youthful exuberance.
