How often do you not touch the minibar items in your hotel room because you find them exorbitantly priced?
An Abu Dhabi-based five-
star hotel has taken the lead and claims to now offer the items at ‘street price,’ i.e., without the in-room premium that helps make other hotels a killing on the items, if used by guests.
Most guests, however, refrain from using the items since the prices are too high.
In a media statement, Burj Al Sarab said it received the first sample of its minibar branded items, and promises to offer it to its guests at ‘street price’.
“Yes, you don’t have to worry about the high prices of the minibar items anymore because in Jannah Burj Al Sarab, you will have them at street price,” hotel manager Lennart Maas said.
“We always care about the price quality ratio, the price is low but the quality is very high,” he added.
