Mumbai: A man who tried to force his way into the Reserve Bank of India (RBI) building in Mumbai this afternoon has been detained and is being interrogated. The man fired a shot from what turned out be an air gun. The RBI building is situated in Fort in south Mumbai. The area also houses the Mantralaya, all important business houses and the Naval dockyards.
Police says since the RBI building is situated at one of the more sensitive locations in Mumbai, the man is being interrogated by the crime branch of the Mumbai Police and the Anti-Terrorism Squad (ATS) at the MRA Marg Police Station.
