Skipper Dhoni’s wife Sakshi expressed her love for Dhoni and the team.
Mumbai: Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Team India were shocked after an exiting West Indies side knocked the hosts out of ICC World T20 in the second semifinal here at the Wankhede on Friday.
India were vying for a spot in the summit clash against England in a bid to clinch the crown for the second time after 2007. But that did not happen, courtesy Lendl Simmons’ unbeaten knock of 82 that helped the Caribbean side book their tickets to Kolkata.
The win however did not see any Indian fans slam the team but what was a sight to witness was the amount of love and respect showered on members of Team India specially on one man —Virat Kohli.
There was also another person who wrote a heart-warming message to her husband and the Indian team. Skipper Dhoni’s wife Sakshi expressed her love for Dhoni and the team.
“Always with you Mahi. Bleed blue forever. We love you Team India whether you win or lose. You gave us happy memories last month and pulled off miracles. You made us smile many times. Losing is not the end of the world. We love you captain,” Sakshi wrote on her Facebook.
Sakshi’s post just reflects the emotions of a nation that has just magnified its respect for Dhoni and Co after the penultimate clash.
