Mumbai: While Team India continued dominating South Africa in their Pool B clash at the Melbourne Cricket Ground on Sunday, Pakistan fans flooded Twitter with their support for the Proteas. So much so that a couple of fans – after giving up hope – tweeted: “Let’s support India.”
Going by the ‘Mauka Mauka’ commercial which went viral, the Pakistan supporters lost another chance to unpack their 23-year-old cracker packets. When the match was on, they started praying for India’s downfall.
Their love for South Africa – whose jersey is also green in colour – suddenly came alive.
Even fun was poked at Ahmed Shehzad for frequently clicking selfies and not concentrating on cricket. Shehzad – the Virat Kohli look-alike – is known for posting photographs on social media with his favourite, Shahid Afridi.
