ಶಂಕಿತ ಎಚ್1ಎನ್1 ರೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಮೃತ್ಯು

ಮಂಗಳೂರು, ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ.11: ಶಂಕಿತ ಎಚ್1ಎನ್1 ರೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ತುತ್ತಾಗಿದ್ದ ಮುಲ್ಕಿಯ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಒಬ್ಬರು ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಫಲಕಾರಿಯಾಗದೆ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟ ಘಟನೆ ನಿನ್ನೆ ಬೆಳಗ್ಗೆ ನಡೆದಿದೆ.

ಮೃತರನ್ನು ಮುಲ್ಕಿಯ ಭಾರತ್ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಮ್ಯಾನೇಜರ್ ಉಡುಪಿ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಹೆಜಮಾಡಿ ನಿವಾಸಿ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀನಾರಾಯಣ ಎಂದು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.ಅವರು ಕಳೆದ ಹದಿನೈದು ದಿನಗಳಿಂಸ ಜ್ವರದಿಂದ ನರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು. ಹೀಗೆ ಜ್ವರದಿಂದ ನರಳುತ್ತಿದ್ದ ಹೆಜಮಾಡಿಯ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀನಾರಾಯಣ ಅವರು ಸ್ಥಳೀಯ ಅಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದ್ದರು.

ಆದರೆ ಜ್ವರ ಉಲ್ಬಣಿಸಿಸಿದಾಗ ಮಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯೊಂದರಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರನ್ನು ದಾಖಲಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಆದರೆ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪಂದಿಸದ ಅವರು ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅವರ ಸಾವಿಗೆ ಎಚ್ 1 ಎನ್ 1 ಕಾರಣ ಎಂದು ಶಂಕಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ .

ಅವರಿಗೆ ಎಚ್1ಎನ್1 ಬಾಧಿಸಿರುವ ಶಂಕೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತವಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆದರೆ ಅದಿನ್ನೂ ದೃಢಪಡಬೇಕಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವೈದ್ಯರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗೆ ರಕ್ತದ ಮಾದರಿಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರಯೋಗಾಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಕಳುಹಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಒಂದು ವೇಳೆ ಲಕ್ಷ್ಮೀನಾರಾಯಣ ಅವರು ಎಚ್1ಎನ್1ನಿಂದಲೇ ಮೃತಪಟ್ಟಿದ್ದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲವು ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತಾ ಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯ ಮೂಲಗಳು ತಿಳಿಸಿವೆ.

Mangaluru, Feb 12: A bank manager breathed his last on Saturday February 11 due to H1N1.

Lakshminarayana Salian (43) is the person deceased. He was working as a manager at Bharat Co-operative Bank’s Mulky branch. He is survived by wife and two daughters.

Salian was suffering from fever from the past 10 days. He took treatment for the same in a hospital in Udupi and then was shifted to a hospital in Mangaluru for advanced treatment.

Salian, who hailed from Hejamady, started his career in Mumbai and later worked for the Bharat Bank for 16 years. He also served as manager at Bharat Bank’s Mangaluru and Udupi branches as manager before his posting in Mulky. He was the vice-president of Hejamady Billava Sangha and was very active in social service.

H1N1 cases in Udupi, Dakshina Kannada districts

Two deaths have been reported due to H1N1 out of the 4 cases reported in Udupi district since January this year. During the same period, 5 cases have been reported in Dakshina Kannada districts.

The treatment for the same is available at all primary health care centres of both the d districts. Health officers have said that cold, cough and fever for a longer period should be taken seriously and referred to hospitals.
